The plotline focuses on the Lassader family, headed by Joe and Carol (Dan Turpen and Joyce Turpen), whose daughter Selena (Martha Lee) searches out Derek McGregor (James Ian Mair) and his team (James Stevenson and Abram Beck) to hunt and kill a vampire colony that is holding the family hostage by drinking the blood of their livestock, the source of their income. The colony is run by the powerful Kane, who is released from his coffin after being dug up in the mining grounds. Accepting the offer, McGrgeor and his small team begin a bloody, terrifying journey to track and destroy the evil vampire brood, with the help of vampire specialist Xavier Burns (Virgil Franklin). Along the way, they are taken captive, but are released by a mysterious, beautiful vampire girl named Eve (Cassie Hauser), who has become a renegade against Kane. As the body count rises, Derek and Joe desperately try to stop Kane and his colony before everyone they care about is killed.

Additional cast includes Michael Mair, Ryan Bredeweg, Jordan Stockrahm, Benjamin Mair, Josh Ketchem, Kristen Riggleman, Ramsey Ferree, Cole Riggleman and Jordan Ross.

The film’s excellent score was composed by Virgil Franklin. The original posters were designed and created by Erin Henderson. Special Thanks goes to the following: Ashley Tibbett, Michael and Lisa Mair, Kim and Jim Tibbett, Keith Fulford, Jamie Everhart, Nathan Moore, and my other family. Without them, “Bloodstone” would not have been possible.
